• Jazz Grime – Jazz-Grime – ‘Go On Then’ (2016),‘Time to Fly Take 2’ (2018) (Burke 2021)
• Future Cool Jazz – Released three albums in this genre (Future Cool Jazz & Future
Cool Jazz 1.2 (2014), Future Cool Jazz 2 (2015) and FUTURECOOLJAZZ3 (2017)) stretching and expanding the genre
by merging highly layered and multi processed backing tracks with solo trombone melodies.
• Garage Jazz – Garage Jazz defined as ‘Free or Improvised music created in and around a
Garage’ (https://garagejazz.weebly.com/). His seminal release in this genre was released through Blowpipe records and is simply called: ‘Garage Jazz’. (Burke 2021)
• Noise Trombone – In its narrowest sense, Noise Trombone means ‘the use of the Trombone as a solo instrument to create highly complex noise pieces’. In the broadest sense Noise Trombone is ‘Trombone and Noise generated by a computer or electronic device’. Kris T Reeder has released several pieces in this genre which include a seminal series of self released Cassette tapes (Noise Trombone 1,2 and 3 – recorded in 2015 and 4 recorded in 2020). 1,2 and 3 were acquired by Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2019 (Burke 2021)
• Noise Jazz – has released extensively in this sub-genre.
